Biography:
Dr. Abel Navarro studied Chemistry at the Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University in Lima, Peru and then moved to the USA to earn his MS in Organic Chemistry in 2007. Then, he continued with his Ph.D. in Biomolecular Chemistry, with emphasis in protein chemistry, graduating in 2011. Next, Dr. Navarro was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, part of the CUNY network in New York City. Now as an Associate Professor, he continue conducting research with highly motivated and talented students, coauthoring around 40 peer-reviewed articles since his appointment.
