Dr. Alberto V. Puga studied Chemistry at the University of Barcelona, and received a PhD in Chemistry at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2007. He has been a post-doctoral research fellow at the Queen’s University of Belfast (UK) and a Marie Curie researcher at Rovira i Virgili University (Tarragona, Spain). Dr. Puga is a research associate at Instituto de Tecnología Química (Valencia, Spain), and will be shortly taking on a tenuretrack position at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. Topics of interest to his research include heterogeneous catalysis, photocatalysis, solar energy, hydrogen production, carbon dioxide capture and reduction, or biomass valorisation.
Title : Photocatalytic production of hydrogen from biomass or wastewaters using solar energy
