Biography:
Dr. Cesar Mendez studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Guadalajara and has a master’s degree in chemical engineering also from the University of Guadalajara in 2015. Later, he joined the research group of Prof. Jorge Ancheyta at the Mexican Institute of Petroleum, from Mexico City. He received his PhD degree in 2019 at the Research Center for Applied Science and Advanced Technology (CICATA-Legaria) of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico City. In 2019, he was hired by the software development company for engineering process, AspenTech, and currently works in the Research and Development department providing support for the HYSYS software at the Mexico City office. He also works as a visiting Professor at the Research Center for Applied Science and Advanced Technology (CICATA-Legaria) of the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City. He has advised two Bachelor's theses and published several scientific papers.
