Title : Complex flow dynamics of human eye vitreous during sudden rapid movements

Abstract:

Partial vitreous liquefaction (PVL) is a common destructive change in the vitreous in which the fluid component separates from the collagen fiber network, leading to cavity formation. Understanding the mechanism of movement and the nature of this biological phenomenon is quite complex and has not been addressed from a mechanical point of view even in a simple configuration. The main goal in this lecture is to present the results of our team's research on how fast and sudden movements in human life (such as traffic accidents, sports events, and falls from a height and common entertainment in game cities) affect the dynamics of vitreous fluid flow in the form of two viscoelastic fluid flows. -Newtonian phase in the vitreous chamberIn this speech, I will explain the valuable results of these studies better, which can be the first step towards investigating drug distribution in semi-liquid glass gel as one of the most important physiological consequences of helping the medical community.
