Title : Synthesis of silver nanoparticles and evaluation of its antimicrobial, antioxidant and anticancer activity
Abstract:
The major applications of silver nanoparticles in the medical field include diagnostic applications and therapeutic applications. In most of the therapeutic applications, it is the antimicrobial property that is being majorly explored, but the anti-inflammatory property, anticancer and antioxidant property also have their potential applications. Biosynthesis of nanoparticles using plant extracts is the eco-friendly method of production of nanoparticles. The application of such eco-friendly silver nanoparticles in bactericidal, anticancer, and antioxidant applications, makes this method potentially exciting for the large-scale synthesis of other nanomaterials and hence may be useful for appropriate drug delivery and other biomedical applications.
